My Journey With Midjourney Version Six --V 6

Mind-blowing stuff. I went to the discord server and to settings to make sure I was using the new version. There's a lot of room for improvement but still, wow.

Upon quick glance:

It's more literal. The more explicit I am the better. It's more accurate with prompts overall.

It's more like chat GPT in terms of processing language more effectively. That seems to be why the images are better.

I do not need as much info like do this in "8K", make this "cinematic" or "photorealistic"

There are less stock image like more natural. Skin colors seem more realistic

It can now do text. You have to place it in " ...." and indicate with certain phrases this is text you want, such as : entitled , lettered, scripted, printed, embossed..

Improvements with multiple character rendering

There are moments when it's hit or miss. Think of a slot machine in Las Vegas. Hm. now that I mention that ... It's been a while.

I use --style raw a lot to get the realism.

I use --v 6 if I have not changed it in the discord settings

I use --ar 16:9 if i want to be clear on aspect ratio

The word "unsplash" in your prompts gives it a realistic look.

The V6 appears to be more sensitive to comas. So "Eats, shoots and leaves" gives me one disturbing image and "eats shoots and leaves" gives me a cute panda having lunch.

Using language that controls the positioning on the shot composition is helpful when you use short sentences. Apples on the left. Cherries on the right. Plain background. Describe the image as if you are talking to a friend

Legal flag I learned from watching a You Tube video. Prompting 'inspired by' (insert movie or art) could have legal ramifications and IP issues. Mid-journey can replicate other peoples talent and IP for you.
